Import/Export with plug-ins
 
Say I open a clip in AE CS4 and add some effects to it with plug-ins(that are NOT installed in PP). What is the simplest/best way to get that clip back into my PP timeline with the effects still applied to it?

Should I just export it to .MOV or is there a way to open the AE comp in PP, with the effects still applied to the clip? Thanks.

you need to read up on 'Dynamic Link', and check that your version of CS4 came with it.

It means you can just drag/drop your AE composition on to the PPro timeline. then changing anything in AE (plugins or otherwise) will show up instantly in PPro too.
