Fixing credits
I have a short that I've lost the original files to and now I find that I need to make some changes to the credits at the end.
Just to make life difficult - they're rollong credits. Tell me what you really think on Vimeo now called "tell me what you really think" it was originally called "Prick' and that name still appears at the end - I've also mispelt the writers name - DUH! I use CS4 but only the basics, I know next to nothing about AE and I have a feeling that's what I'll need to use any suggestions?? |
I loved it. I thought it was hilarious.
I am new at Adobe and my CS4 just arrived, so I cannot help you. However, I would suggest that you not fade out just prior to the credit roll. It is a distraction, and causes me to ask why? Why not just keep the scene going. If the footage is not there, then dissolve in the credit roll. Fade in and out does not work for me. |
Hi Brian,
Appreciate the comments - it was all down to the brilliant acting ;-) much as I'd like to be able to tweak it, as I said the original files are long gone. Anyone else with some pointers on how to fix the credits??? |
Paul,
Why be stuck with the idea of rolling the credits over the same close up that ended your movie? Why not roll the credits over the 2-shot on the couch? It would be a better scene for the credits anyway. Just my opinion . . . |
Paul, you could fix it in AE with lots and lots of masking.. but it would take you a week
to do... I'd just take the easy way out and re-create a credits page... |
HA! - always keep your tapes - guess what I just found!!
Easy peasy - bugger re-editing the whole thing but now I can fix the credits!! thanks for the suggestions. |
