how to convert a .flv file for use in premiere
Guys, I know this is slightly outside of Premiere itself, but I could use some direction. I have a client that has a video that is only in .flv format that he needs me to edit and grab frames from. I have the entire CS3 and CS4 production suites and cannot figure this out. What program will allow me to accomplish this? A google search just brings in about 100 different small software vendors that sell apps to do this but my experience with these has been poor. Does anyone know a reliable method to capture frames at least? Editing out a segment would be a bonus but I'd settle for frame grabs first.
Thanks. |
Hi Marty
CS4 will import flv direct to the time line... you can edit and do what you want.. save parts of the clip or export tiff file stills that you can process in photoshop... Cheers Gareth |
Seriously? Awesome news, thanks Gareth!
