Delete Audio Automation
I have several audio tracks in a PP2 project that have automation that I want to delete and start over. I can't find any infomation how to do this and am a little stuck.
I want to delete the fader automation as well as the surround position. Any help would be appreciate. Alan |
I have never used PP2, but in CS4 you either click on the fx button by the effect you want (in the effects control window) to turn it off, or right click on the timeline track in question and select "remove effects." Possibly the procedure is the same in the earlier versions....hth/ Battle Vaughan

Just put the track in "Overwrite" instead of "Latch" and play the timeline. That should solve the problem. Another way would be to drag the sound files to a new track and delete the old track, since most of the automation features are track based.

Thanks guys.
Mike's solution worked. Set tracks to write, set faders to 0 etc. and then hit play. Much appreciated! |
Sorry, didn't read the question hard enough, you did say fader automation and not effects...gotta get new glasses..../BV
