Problems editing DSLR footage on CS4?

What issus are we looking at with editing footage from DSLRs (namely the T2i) using CS4? I have been reading some posts and people are mentioning that CS5 supports DSLR footage, but I am not really experiencing any obvious problems as I cut the film I am working on now...

Thanks!

No one is experiencing problems with editing footage from their DSLR on CS4?

since original files are compressed, it has to be transcoded to CS4 friendly, something like .avi format (I use cineform).
CS5 has adopted original format, but i would still transcode for color correction, etc.

Thaaaank you for replying J.J.

Been waiting forever for someone to tell me whats going on with this..

I was just about to order NeoScene but I wasn't sure if I would be wasting my money.

Alright so all you do is run it through NeoScene, turn it into a .avi (which is significantly bigger..), color correct it (what about using After Effects?) and then you're set?

thanks!!
