converting nested sequences to original clips

i have a video edit with around 10 nested sequences. i want to match the clip effects and transitions in the nested sequences to music in the master sequence. how can i convert the nested sequence to the original clips so i can directly edit on the master sequence timeline instead of going to the nested sequence timeline and editing the music timing by trial and error?

Re: converting nested sequences to original clips

Double click on Nested Sequence in master sequence, this will open the nested clips.
Copy these clips and paste in master sequence.

thanks , thats actually a manual way of doing it and i did that just now. what i did was open a new video timeline on top of the nested sequence and lined up the copied clips to the nested sequence in the master timeline. i then deleted the nested.
however, i know there is a replace function somewhere, where the copied files takes the position of the sequence they are to replace in the master timeline. would you know how to do this?

Right mouse click on clip: replace with clip.....
That will give you one clip only.

it wouldnt work in my case, since it can only replace with a single clip instead of mulitple which are sometimes spread in multiple video timelines.
but thanks for the suggestion, nonetheless :)
