AVCHD to P2
 

I am changing over to CS 5.5 for editing VS Edius. I have a question I use AVCHD and CS 5.5 does edit ok but is clunky when it comes to scrubbing and such. I tried converting my footage to P2 but when I do the audio comes in as Mono then if I "modify" the audio it seems to be ok except my audio track comes in at track 5 BUT if I automate to sequence my audio goes back to mono. What am I doing wrong?
