Transitions
 

Hi,

Looking for a transitions (and effects) package for CC. I was surprised (although I shouldn't have been, I guess) to find out that they're mostly subscription based now.

What are folks using, and what do you recommend?

Bumping this because I'm searching for an effect today, and the same question came to mind. I "subscribe" to Adobe Creative Cloud, which I find to be a moderately bad financial decision, but I just can't bring myself to subscribing to effects which are the same day after day. I'd rather just buy them. The up-front, flat rate cost is not a big deal.

Also here: Red Giant | Filmmaking and Motion Graphics Software

Lots of effects, transitions and tools. Some are for outright purchase, some free (and very good). Their Universe package has a subscription option, or "lifetime" purchase.
