Is It Possible To Tell When a DVD Was Edited?
I'm curious if there's a way to find out when a DVD or Blu-Ray was edited, if using Premiere Pro?
Are the various video files all lost when the encoding process takes place, making one master video file, or is there a way to trace the previous data to track when it was edited? As far as I am aware, the only way to look at a file date/time from a disc is to explore the disc from a PC and click the properties which says when the file was created and modified, but then that just tells me when the video master file was created, and not edited. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Yes. Whatever video source you use when authoring a DVD gets replaced (transcoded) to MPEG-2 when creating the DVD. Video files are written to the disc as .vob files. So the "creation" date of such files would be from when the DVD was authored, and not when the source files were created/edited. Thanks |

Not possible.
You can read the creation date of the dvd and that is it. |
