Hey Bruce,

I've been running a 2.8g-HT system on an Abit mobo with 2gigs and an ATI 9800 card with dual monitors for the last year and half. The key to my old system however was that I ran a Canopus DV Raptor RT2 board which gave me true realtime, 1.5 loved it and I produced some really nice stuff with it.

My new system is running 1.5 and 2.0 with the same Canopus card but 2.0 won't see the card due to the lack of drivers for it. The system rocks realtime through just about anything that I can throw at it. My new system is spec'd out below.

Either way, you're not likely to make a bad call on the video, you can check the Adobe site, they list recommended solutions that are "optimized" for their system, in fact my new video card the Nvidia 1400 has an Adobe Certified driver combo for it that was tested for use with Premier Pro and After Effects, found it to be dead on solid.

Hey not sure if I asked you this in the past, but did you ever shop at the old Ace Music store in North Miami back from about 1989 to 1993?

Miguel,
I used to shop at freddy's...I was also exporting music gear, and was a distributor for Fender export for a few years. Did you work there back then?

You were Steve Cruz's customer if I recall and yes I did, from 1988 to about 1993 when I departed to work full time for Waxy 106 then Big 106 and after the Clear Channel merger went to work for Motorola where I've been ever since. I knew the name sounded familiar...
