Yeah. I should have done that. Any special recommendations about how to do the dubbing? I don't have anything fancy available. We'll have two cameras, one to record the sound, and one to play the raw footage to a TV so the actors can watch while they record. Anything else? Any methods I should try?

I would capture the footage to a computer first, and have the talent watch from the computer if possible, because it's a lot easier to scrub back to the beginning than rewind tape. You'll find it almost impossible to get lip synch without really looping the dialogue. Good lip synch comes from building rhythm that comes from repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition repetition...

While recording, make sure your talent is as sonically isolated as possible from the whirr of computer fans. If possible, feed the monitor cable underneath a door and into a quiet, acousitcally dry room.
