Connection question about Countryman B6 wireless lav

Ok, so this is a newbie question, and I did a forum search, and emailed Countryman, but I found nothing, nor did I recieve a reply.

I'm looking to purchase the Audio Technica 1800 Wireless Lav system, and I was also looking at the wireless Countryman B6 lav, however I noticed that they have different connections based on the transmitters. I read over the stats on AT's website, and I know that their transmitters uses a 4-pin hirose input (which I thought was the standard), but under the Countryman B6 website, I see they have two types of Hirose (I'm guessing male and female), but I can't find my type of transmitter listed.

WellI figure that doesn't matter, so long as I have the correct hirose gender. So could anyone help: Does the AT 1800 transmitter have a male or female hirose input?

Female input on the transmitter.
I use the AT1823?? I forget the exact number but it's the dual channel receiver with 2 countryman EMWs-well actually 1 because one is a hardwired XLR which i use as either a hardwired mic OR use a phantom box and the AT plugin transmitter.
ATs new stuff is really very nice and has a really good sound qaulity.

Thank you.

Whenever I settle down and have a son, I will name him Don!

Heh, maybe not. I lied:-(

The receiver is a 4 pin MALE-I was thinking about another unit I have.
4 pin MALE is what's on the AT unit. Sorry bout that.

That's interesting. I thought you had to have b6s custom wired for the AT1800 system. Good to know.

Actually where I got the mics (full compass dot com) has a full listing of mics and connections. The menu is so big for countryman I finally just called ;-)

The EMW mics were sent direct from countryman in a few days and the service at full compass has been excellent.

General FYI, Don was right (THANK YOU THANK YOU)
I called Countryman, and they had not updated their list for the AT 1800.

http://www.countryman.com/display.asp?catid=4&pid=75

Audio technica has three boxes listed: One for HRS, another is HRS(FEMALE), and the last one is for TA5 F.

However, I was assured that the B6 wireless does work with the 1800. The connection type needed has the order code of AT, (MALE 4 pin HRS). Since I don't own the 1800, and since the pdf just had it listed as 4 pin HRS, I wasn't sure.

I know what I'm spending my next paycheck on :)
