monitoring sound

Hi Guys,
Suppose I buy something like this: Fofic Media Solutions - Product details
and my soundman puts the plug-on transmitter on his shotgun, on a boompole, wanders around, etc
so he sends the sound to my HVR 1ve but can't hear what he's recording.. ??
how does this kind of thing works?
Regards,
Jochem

Needs a little more hardware if the boom op is going to be able to monitor. Something like this on his belt - MM-1 Line Driver / HP Monitor | Sound Devices, LLC - between the mic and the wireless transmitter. You could also procure a second receiver that the boom op could wear on his belt - the transmitter doesn't care how many receivers are listening to it.

You can hear what he's recording by plugging your headphones into the camera.
