I'm looking for a specific "burst sound" (swoosh)

Hello,

I need a sound like the one that sounds in every movie trailer when a title appears on screen. It's like a swoosh or a burst sound. I did find it in www.findsounds.com but I couldn't find anything similar.

If someone has a variety of swooshes or this kind of sounds in WAV or MP3 would you mind sending it to me ? It would be very helpful.

My e-mail is: robertmoix@capellades.net

Thank you!

Robert,

Probably the easiest way to get the exact sound you want is to go to SoundDogs and buy one. You can audition the sounds and they generally have quite a few from which to chose. You just give them a credit card # and download the sound at once.

The price is generally under $10 with most being under $5.

If you've got Acid or some other sound program then I highly recommend the M-Audio Pro-Sessions disks...

For your inquiry I'd recommend "Cinematic IMPACT".

$40-$50 USD.

PowerFX has one too. I've got it, but like most folks here, I don't think anyone is interested in violating copyrights...
ACID has them on the Essentials sounds collections, PowerFX has them, Prosessions has them, Apple Loops has em'. You'll find swooshes, etc all over the web. But the good ones I'm aware of, you'll have to buy.
