M-Audio Microphones

Does anyone have any experience or comments on the the M-Audio Luna or Solaris microphones?

I'll be attempting to test them against the AT3035 and the Rode NT1A.

How did that go? I'm considering the Luna right now.

The M-Audio dealer I used in Bangkok was not really interested in allowing me to properly test microphones. In the one small test I did try the M-Audio sounded awful, but it's not really fair to judge it on the strength of that as the levels may have been all wrong and an air conditioning unit was blowing across us.

I finally bought a Chinese-made Takstar SM-1C condenser microphone. It really is excellent and was very cheap. I believe that factory is making condenser microphones for some well known brands. www.takstar.com

If I wanted a brandname mic, I probably would have bought the Audio Technica based on the minimal tests I did.
