Looking for wireless lav solution for under $1500

Hey everyone, I have a Sony A1U currently and it has two on board XLRs.

We're about to start doing a lot of interviews, etc and I'm in need of a good wireless system.

We bought the AKG WMS-450 but it has to be plugged in to a wall socket and it's VERY annoying. I need something completely wireless.

I was looking at buying TWO of the Sennheiser G3 systems as it looks like I can go anywhere with it and stay completely wireless and hook my main person up and interview a second with no problem:

Sennheiser | Evolution G3 100 Series - | EW 100 ENG G3-A | B&H

Are there any other completely wireless systems that would compete with this or you recommend?

Thx!

AT 1821 receiver with 2 body paks-it's a dual receiver so you can use both body paks with one receiver. Of course you set 2 different freqs and can either seperate or mix the sides of the receiver. I've been using one for about 2 years now and love it.

The Sennheiser G3 is a very good solution. I personally use three G2 systems without any problems and with good quality as well. Of course there are 'better' solutions (more stirdy, even better sound quality, more range) but you pay a lot more. In the below 1500 dollar price range the G3 (G2) can't be beat. There may even be room in the budget for a better lavalier mic. (there are some great deals on mke2 mic's on eBay).
