Graduation/ Year Ender Video - Song Suggestions

I'm doing our "Senior Video" or the Grauation video to be played at graduation and I am having a hell of a time finding a good song to fit into the video. I was just wondering if anybody has any real good suggestions for slower songs that might fit into this? I'm sure somebody has done a video like this before and found a perfect song to fit into it.

The only song I have right now that kind of fits is:
Smashing Pumpkins - 1979

I also found this site and am going through some songs that look good:
http://www.memorymovie.com/songs.htm

But I was just wondering if anybody had some creative input on this. I'm not limited to one song.

The video is about 3-5 minutes long (not completely sure because its depending on what video I still get from my media teacher), but it just consists of things like Pep Rallys, Prom, Flower Parties (Homecoming floats), and other school events like that.

this is entirely subjective (obviously), but i've used sigur ros for a few things, and it generates a really nice mood with a touch of melancholiness. i also like that their songs are usually not immediately identifiable.

good luck.

what wrinkly old boomer put that list together???

here's some ideas off the top of my head

good riddance - green day (seems almost too obvious)
sitting, waiting, wishing - jack johnson
road to joy - bright eyes
real world - matchbox twenty
closer to free - the bodeans
under the bridge - red hot chili peppers
let love rule - lenny kravitz
everyday is a winding road - sheryl crow
clocks - coldplay
bittersweet symphony - the verve

i'm sure there's many more. give the kids what they want!

Yeah the only "good" song thats even played on the radio is Green Day's Time of your life. Thanks for the suggestions, I think some of them will fit nicely.
