Anybody using the Lectro UCR100 systems?
 

I'm wondering if Lectro is moving any of the UCR100 systems or if most people in that market are going with Sennheiser G2 systems?

UCR100 w/ LM is $1K
UCR100 w/ UM100 is $1,100
Sennheiser G2 is about $500

Are these units in the same league? I think they are (more or less)... and I'm just wondering what people are experiencing. Happy or not...

Hi there

Bear in mind the Lectro tx's are more powerful, a powerful transmitter counts for a lot in critical applications. The lectros are more solidily built too. If you're not wanting a bag or camera mountable receiver, check out the r400 rx with the LM tx - a great sounding combo (digital hybrid). Sennheiser do have advantage of using cheaper AA batts, even rechargeables.

Thanks for the reply... I appreciate your input on this, but I gotta' say... My guess is that NOBODY (relatively speaking) is using this Lectro system... at least nobody who frequents the forums. I can't get any experienced input from anyone on all three of the major forums... and even on RAMPS the Lectro 100 info is super-limited. I've read 100% of the info that's EVER been posted there.

This is an unusual situation... even more so because the system I'm asking about does NOT have the 100mW analog transmitter, but rather a 50mW digital one... it's the hybrid transmitter that Lectro offers as an option for every system they sell. It's made to work with the 100, 200, or 400 series systems... but it's only fully digital with the 400 series.
