Best lav wind jammer

So these are the choices :

K-Tek | KTFLTB - Fuzzy Topper Windscreen for Lavalier | K-LTFB

Rycote | Furry Windjammer for Lavalier Mics (Single) | 065514

Remote Audio | Micro-Cat Lavaliere Windscreen - Black | MCAT - B

The Rycote and Remote Audio are the same price while the K-tek is $5 cheaper.

Is there a discernible difference between the 3? Or just go for the cheapest. I'm planning on using these with my sennheiser g2 wireless and in the future with a sony UWP-V1 system.

Thanks for the help!

I only have the Rycote product and have used it many times in relatively high and gusty wind. It really performs well. A top notch product.

Randy i'm on your same boat!

Nick Wilson November 6th, 2009 05:10 PM

Agree with Jeff - the Rycote furries work well on sailing boats and at the top of hills.

Hi Marcus

Do a google search and you'll find here in Europe... I got my Rycotes in the UK for £25, but they cost over 45€ here in France so you might want to go the same route as me...

Cheers
Gareth
