Inexpensive lav for Canon HV S20/21/200

I need to record a talking head in studio (quiet) environment. Please recommend a basic wired mono lav for this purpose.

(The Canon has a mike level 3.5mm stereo jack, with manual level control).

Thank you,

Ervin,

I've had some success with the Audio Technica ATR3350. For $26 it's almost disposable:

Audio-Technica | ATR3350 Omnidirectional Condenser | ATR3350

This used to be the ATR35s, I think. There's better mics out there, but at this price point you won't cry your eyes out if you catch it on something and break the cable or something.

I don't know if it's the same on current models, but my ATR3350 outputs mono, so you need to adjust that in your editing software to mix it to both speakers, but that should be easy.

I used to have the atr-3550. Not the best sounding but definitely worth what you pay. Also, for $100 you can step up to something like this.
