Sony UTX-B2 and UTX-P1 together ? How to

Hi guys,

when I try to use the UTX-B2 (with ECM-V1 BMP lav mic) at the same time with the UTX-P1 plug on (with F112 handeld) there is some strange inaudible sounds like distortions, probably a problem from choosing the right frequency on the transmitters and/or receiver?
No problem when separately used (lav or handheld), the audio is very clear when alone, but not when mixed.

What are the frequency settings on the differents parts you use ? Have someting to see with the receiver (URX-P2) ? Thank you soo much, Alain

If I understand correctly, you are trying to use TWO transmitters, on the same frequency, to one receiver?

Can't do it.

The receiver is diversity, meaning it has two antennas that will switch internally to whichever is receiving the strongest signal from the transmitter. It is NOT two separate channels - each transmitter needs to be tuned to a different frequency and have a separate receiver.

TWO transmitters, on the same frequency to one receiver?
-- Second opinion ( and fact): ABSOLUTELY, CAN"T DO THAT

FWIW, One may use one, two or more receivers on the same frequency, for instance sending the same audio to multiple cameras. But not the other way around.

thank you very much, your responses helps me a lot! so I understand now that I have to use two receivers with different frequencies. Very nice thread
