The Rode definitely captures the full range of your voice, where the ME-15 sounds thin. It's not really a fair comparison. The Rode is a professional audio tool and sounds like it where they other sounds like a brittle 15.00 mic. That "tybbyness" referred to on the PinMic is just the natural bass of a man's voice, and did not overwhelm the high end. On the contrary, the PinMic was quite present sounding. It sounded like he was right here with me. The ME-15 worked, and you could understand what he was saying, but why settle for that if you are a professional? I could see the ME-15 maybe as a backup to throw in your bag and hopefully never have to use. Or just use the ME-2 that comes free with a Sennheiser G3 wireless kit.
