Adding a 2nd wireless channel
I have a Sennheiser 100 G3 kit and I'd like to add a second. Simple question, is there a reason I shouldn't go with the same frequency range (G)? I chose G based on the frequency finder on Sennheiser's site, and have had good luck with it in my area. I also have the wireless stick mic, and can see the benefit of being able to pair it with either kit.
As long as they're on different frequencies within the G range, they shouldn't interfere with each other when being used at the same time, correct? |
Re: Adding a 2nd wireless channel
that's correct. i've been using a pair of G2s in the same frequency range with no problems.

Re: Adding a 2nd wireless channel
As you have already pointed out, you gain flexibility when all your transmitters and receivers are in the same band. I mix G1, G2 and G3 components all the time.
