Cannon Gl2 Mic issues

I'm using a Sennheiser G2 wireless mic, and in the past it's worked great. Have not used it for some time, but when I plug it in the jack I get no audio in my headphones. The mic shows input, but I get nothing in my phones. Checked all settings- everything is fine. Mic works in other devices. Is there a setting I'm missing? Help appreciated.

Assuming you have the G2 EK100 portable receiver, it does not have a HP output, if the AF output is set low (mic level) you would not hear anything via HPs. Are the frequency on both the transmitter and receiver set the same. If you see the transmitter's meter moving the mic probably works. Make sure the transmitter's Mute switch is off as well.

What is HP? All the freq are set right. AF out I've played with, still nothing. Occasionally the sound would come on through the phones if I moved the wires.

Check Headphone setting on GL2.

Jiggling exactly WHICH wires caused sound to become audible - the cable from mic capsule to transmitter, from receiver to camera, from camera to headphones, what? Sounds like there's a bad connection somewhere.

Tonight I plugged the camera in ac (was using battery before) and it sounded fine. I'm going to try it again tomorrow when I have a quiet studio environment.
