Building Sound System
 

Hi Everyone!

I'm starting to build my sound system. My goal is to build the system
with quality items that won't be out dated by time I add my last piece. I have access to 2 band microphones which will be my 2nd & 3rd mic.

Items I plan on buying in the near future.

Mic - AT4073A

Mixer - Sound Device 302

Head Phones - 2 sony 7506's

Boom - Making a homemade boom.

Recorder - Hopefully something under 2 grand ! I know
very little about these, any suggestion is appreciated !

Wireless Mic's - Holding off on buying one until I buy
a new camera.

Camera - Currently have a Panasonic 953 mini dv, but I'm
looking to upgrade to one of the new HD models real soon.


I'm a fish out of water when it comes to audio so Thank You for your help !

Homemade booms are often too short, too heavy, and too noisy. Take a look at the internally cabled K-Tek Avalon's.
