Sorry Greg, From where I am the link to the audio sample seems to be broken, My guess was just a stab in the dark re the level problem.

Very strange, the audio link still works for me this evening. Maybe the data just can't make it all the way to where you are, or perhaps it just hasn't gotten there yet.. ;-)

Had this issue once before, and oddly enough, just had today again.

Tap the top of the capsule- hard! Worked for me but time to get a new recorder!

Although not the best sounding recorder, it's certainly was workhorse! Had mine since the month they were released. Used constantly!

Loved the bullet proof set up without switches and dials to accidently get changed. If I saw a solid red light and my levels were OK, I was golden.

Wonder how the h5n will be?

Hi Guys,
if anyone can help i do wedding video and i have a issues with audio
I have a Zoom H4n and zoom H1 (record ambient audio), basically i'm trying to connect the zoom h4n through a dj mixer (XLR to 3.5 mono) to get a clean audio. but I get noise and distort audio anyone can help me please will be much appreciated.
