Jim, did you use izo DeReverb? What settings did you use?

Re: getting reverb out.

It was Rx6
There were choices on what u want to correct
I picked deverb

Re: getting reverb out.

I've got a full copy of RX6. If you send me your reverb removal settings I will apply them for you and save the file. But I must have an original .wav file of the audio and not your Vimeo copy.

(Audio compression throws away information and as a result performing audio repair feels like you are working with mud. An original uncompressed copy of the audio is absolutely essential.

I can do that I don't remember doing any adjusting once I click that Deverb on the right side of choices,at the top I hit the learn button and then it basically went through and did what it was supposed to do but I wasn't able to save it.
How shall i send the wav file?

Re: getting reverb out.

Dropbox is good. Just export the uncompressed .wav straight from the footage clip and upload.

Re: getting reverb out.

Hi Andrew. I’ve spent time on it and have had comms with Jim and I’m waiting for his response.

This is what I did:

1] In iZotope I used Spectral Noise removal to reduce the Ambient "mush" to reveal more of the ECHO and rendered out the file.

2] In VegasPro15 Normalised the Volume and applied my Invert Phase method/approach using Track Compression. Exported to iZo

3] Back in iZo I applied DeReverb and created my "First Scan" of the file and saved this as a First Scan Preset and Processed the file.

4] Applied a "Second Scan" of the processed file to 3] above and saved this as a Preset and Processed the file.

Cheers

I spent time on it too. Looks like we're competing.

For bonus points I ran the wind removal filter on the diploma part of the ceremony. :-)
