Using four different audio sources...

I posted a variant of this thread in the HD forum, to no avail... So I'll be more specific and try it here.

I am about to buy two different HD cams (HDR-FX1 and GY-HD100), which will be my first time using two different cams for event photography. I'll be using a camera-mounted shotgun, a wireless lapel mic (both connected to HD100 XLR) and a condenser mic connected to my laptop to record music/pulpit.

So essentially, I'll have 4 seperate audio sources (lav, shotgun, condenser, FX1 mic)... What, in your opinion, should I do?

My idea is that I'll use the lav and condenser as my source audio (as it will sync with the HD100 footage), and use the other two as backup (the FX1 footage will probably silent coverage and reaction shots, making it's audio irrevelant). Or should I even bother with the FX1's mic at all? Is it even possible to sync the audio from two different cams? Timecoding?

I hope I'm not being too confusing... This is my first venture into such territory.

By the way, I know the shotgun isn't very useful in event photography, but I'm going to have it for filmmaking anyway... So I might as well tote it along.
