Tascam DA-P1 Servicing
 

Hello all - my (used) DA-P1 seems to have bitten the dust. From the way it fails and the noises it makes I think the "play" motor has died; everything else seems to be fine, so I'd like to salvage it if possible. I seem to remember someone mentioning shops that repair these, but the search function and Google have been largely unhelpful. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you . . .

P.S. A million thanks to those that recommended the AT897s over the ME66s. They are so beautiful.
