Well, it was recommended as a solution by Advance Pro in Winnipeg, since it would remove the camera from audio and would give me some flexibility since I don't have a crew. It also removes the problem of camera noise, so I figured it was a decent solution for the time being till I can scrounge up the cash for a good boom mic and all the other gear recommended.
