Cleaning up wind noise from a voice track?

I've got an interview where I was the lone camera, sound and interviewer, where I wasn't paying enough attention to a wind noise from the interviewee's lav mic. I know I can't remove it entirely, which is fine, but does anyone have any recommendations about cleaning it up a bit, for example, noise gating to at least limit peaks - would Sound Soap help?
Thanks
Greg

You can try Adobe sound shop, it was still a free download a few weeks ago.
It has some nice noise filters in it.
Also if you are ona MAC. Soundtrac pro has some nice noise filters as well.

Greg - have you tried applying a high-pass/low-cut filter to see if it eliminates some of the wind noise?

Good start. A "Depopper" is also good for this, as it is a dynamic high pass filter. A "Desser" , used to remove excessive Sssss, is a dynamic low pass filter.

Guys, thanks very much for the filter and software suggestions which I'll try out.
