The CMIT 5U is a very tight mic, but when used/placed properly, it is "Sweet".

Hello Gary,

I forget. What had mics had you been using before?

Hi Ty,

I was using the standard 152 and would rent the B6 when budget allowed. The 152 was ok for what I was doing (web streamed speeches) but the "Handling" noise was always a problem. The good mics (B6 and COS-11) don't seemed to have the same challenge. And for booming, the MKH-70 and ME66. I still do like the 416 though, but the Shoeps is awefully good.
