Nice images very nice.
I am planning on buying a LetusFE so I have to ask this question,
Is it hard to focus with Letus?Eventhough the images were fantastic there was the focusing issue that killed my eyes.If it is because the camera was handheld it is another ball game.Anyway how would you rate Letus?
Thanks.
Good day.

The Viewfinder/LCD with the H1 is hard to keep critical focus with because it is so small...
the A1 & even the HV20 are easier
(though for critical shots you would want an external HD monitor)

However , I am pretty good with the H1 LCD focussing,
mostly it was because everyone, including myself, was moving

Regardless, those are really nice pictures and I am sure I am getting a Letus.
Thanks John.
Keep up the good work
Good day

John;
Are you using any filtration on the lens? or is this just the letus? It appears to me as though there is a diffusion filter on the lens.
Thanks, Barry

Barry,
it's just the lens - probably what you are seeing is
1) the compression I was experimenting with
2) me trying to pull focus in the viewfinder

John,
I shoot with an H1 also, and have been looking into the Letus. That's the Letus "flip", correct? Are you fairly happy with it?
What primes are you using? I have a nikon 50mm 1.8 for my Nikon digital. I'd probably need an 85 also, right?

Hello Bruce.
I love shooting with the letusXL flip!
the flipped image makes all the diference because you can navigate on the fly.
The Letus flip, however, I have heard magnifies slightly.
So while I use a 50mm alot (and my fave is an 85) for run and gun I was mostly using a 35mm 1.8
The trouble is finding a good wide shot. I have a 24mm and it's useful, in certain situations, but I rarely rech for it firtst choice.
I even tried the older 3x Cannon XL lens for wide shots (and while I love tha lens too) it is hard to match a nce establishing wide with it and then go into closer Letus shots without doing work in post to make the two shots more similar.
Personally I Love shooting hand held with the adapter.
and anthing on top of the H1 stock lens is just too unamanageable for me.
good luck
