35mm Adapter for Sony vx2100

Hi, can anyone recommend a lens adapter for the Sony vx2100. Are there any choices for this cam? I've been looking but it seems that the all the adapters are for HD and that SD adapters have been discontinued. I am very new to the adapter scene and I am having a hard time getting started in choosing one.

I use a Letus Extreme with my PD-170 (SD) and HV20 (HD); pretty happy with the results on both cameras.

Any adapter on the market that is stated to be 'HD' is backwards compatible with an SD camcorder.

Thank you for the replies. I understand.

One thing you'll find with this camera is that adapters designed for larger HD cameras will likely show a higher level of vignetting (edge falloff) when mated to the VX2100. We generally recommend our CF1 imaging element for this camera as it pretty much guarantees nice bright frames from edge to edge. Dropping in our CF1Le would "convert" the adapter in turn for use with larger format cameras like the HVX200, XH-A1, etc.

The VX2100 is actually a very good adapter cam due to it's superp low light performance.

Cheers,
Dennis.

Dennis, would I use the cf1 element with the Brevis35 HD Imaging Adapter?

Yep, and if you purchase a larger HD camera done the line, you'd just drop in CF1Le.

Cheers,
Dennis.
