First shoot with the SGBlade

Just Random stuff to give a feel of what the footage looks like.Took it out for a walk in London in a grave yard and by the river Thames as well. This shoot was shot to AVCHD as my laptop was giving issues with regards to capturing HDMI via intensity. Will do this next time.

Hi Henry, glad to hear that you have your unit!

Is there a link missing?

Henry Olonga February 9th, 2009 01:14 PM

Hi Wayne

Got the link up now.Had trouble posting the first time hence the double post and missing link. UPS failed with the delivery because of the back log caused by the snow but I managed to pick it up Saturday on my way back from a gig. Thanks again mate.I am over the moon with your product - has corrected all the anomolies that I had with my previous adaptor. All the best and congrats again on a great product.

Henry,

The footage looks really good, very minimal vignetting with such a small camcorder. Would you be able to post this over at the shoot35 forum?

Henry Olonga February 9th, 2009 03:00 PM

Sure thing Wayne.I am not a member at shoot35 and am awaiting the admin to authorise my account - once that's done I will post it.I am waiting for one of the Canon HSF10 or HSF100s and then I am sure the Blade will be even more amazing.Take care

I didn't know you could use an Intensity card with a laptop. How are you doing it?

Henry Olonga February 10th, 2009 06:16 PM

HI Peter,
Long thread about that here

Magma + Intensity Pro + Laptop: which laptop? - The Digital Video Information Network

Basically - Intensity in a magma chassis plus portable battery ( Xantrex ) in a fast enough laptop.Works a treat. There is another way that I have worked out but I need to iron out a few issues but this is the best and most reliable.
