Shooting at night with Ultimate

I own an extreme but am renting an ultimate for an upcoming shoot we have. One of the scenes I'm picking up will be us lighting a night scene up. Wondering if anyone has seen any good footage from the Ultimate. I'm interested in what it's looking like at night with a lot of contrast happening in the scene. Shooting on an EX1

Take a look at Reel Inspirations :: Passport

I shot at night in an office with several lights, high contrast with my EX1 and Ultimate.

Hmmm.....I've had the exact opposite experience. If I need to shoot a dark scene I take the adapter off. I loose about 2 stops when using it and this makes most scenes too dark to yield usable footage without cranking the gain way up. It could be the fact that I'm shooting with CINE4 Gamma. I need to play with the other gamma settings. Maybe STD3 would yield better results.

Once the Letus relay lens is released this should give back most of the light we loose when shooting with an adaptor. But I can't decide whether to go with the current model they're offering (Academy framing). I'd rather buy a relay that is full frame with a 35mm lens. So my wide angles will be just as wide as they are now.

Hope you have some fast 35mm lenses. (50mm f/1.4 for example)

Good luck! :)
