Static Medium Format Question...

Ok I have gone the way of Medium format. I have purchased a bronica etrs body for parts and a 75mm lens. $150.00 total. WOW this lens/image is the best. I'm telling you it blows the doors off 35mm for quality. "Just my humble opinion". Anyway me and the boss were thinking and we have this question... If we go "static Adapter" with it and placed a focus screen where the film plane is... Now here is the real question... instead of zooming in to get the image... stay wide and get the edge to edge of the focus screen... "Staying Wide" would we be far enough away but with a great image to lose the grain of the focus screen? I am shooting DV25 compression...Remember we will not be zooming in to the focus screen but stay wide... any help would be great..
Wake up Dan! 8^)

Can you just try it without waking me up?lol (keep MF lens focused at closest range and a street light in BG-soft- see what the grain looks like)

When I started with my wax GG, I started with MF, but I got back to 35mm because I was using too much light. Anyway, with micro-wax you won't have grain but you also need a condenser as big as the MF GG.

Trying it

Anyway I'll try this as soon as I can get a good focus screen.. Other then that I'm gonna try the old standard spinning cd with a frosted window tint coating.. I'll give an update as as the holiday is over... thanks Dan.. go back to sleep now...
