Wow, looks like the exact opposite of a mini35! Very interesting....it sounds like it may use a really similar design, too.
Film people want a deeper DOF, video people want a shallower one. No one's happy, I guess. |
Evidently he made one for 35mm applications that's heavily used in music videos? It is said to have awesome depth of field and rents for 2g's a day. Uses a pechan prism

By "awesome depth of field" the article means much deeper depth of field, you reaize. More like video, actually, and the exact opposite of what we're trying to achieve, although it's probably a very similar device, just sort of 'backwards."
