Yes, i was always getting distortion with these two lenses (great for getting rid of hotspot, though).

I think it was the distance between lens agains the cam "(|dvcam", that lens needs to be as close as you can get it to the camcorder lens, then backed off about 3mm. This ofcourse will only apply to my setup, but indeed proves that distance matters and the focal length has a meaning.
