Aperture + Shutter Speed Settings for Letus35

What settings has everyone been using for shooting?
Is it recomended to open up the aperture all the way and adjust the shutter speed accordingly from that? Or does the aperture on the camera not have an effect on the DOF with the Letus35 and 35mm lens attached?

my guess would be if anything, slow shutter and smaller aperture. But no, neither has an effect on the DOF the adapter will give you. Smaller aperture just makes it less likely to end up with the GG or part of the GG out of focus, and longer shutter means less chance of capturing the moving grain. I dont think either should matter all that much in most situations (as long as you arent using a really fast shutter). more than likely youll need to use a slow shutter and large aperture to compensate for the light loss of the adapter and extra glass.

Best settings

Did you sort this?

I expect setting at 1/50 sec and letting the camera auto set the aperture would be best bet...

Nick.
