does ANYONE know the difference between the 35 and the 35A ?!!!!

Quyen Le October 30th, 2005 10:31 AM

Yes, I do :D
There are some updates have been done to the Letus35A.
- Resistor removed for faster spinning
- Better achromat
- We lately make the GG bigger a little bit for DVX100 version since it has problem focusing when it's not perfectly aligned. So if you place an order and have DVX100(a), please say so, this feature is free and if you have other camera and want bigger GG as well, please note with your paypal order.
Thanks.

so does the adapter fit directly onto the dvx or do you need a step up ring?

You'll need a step down ring. The Letus35 has a 58mm filter thread, while the DVX has a 72mm filter thread.

Edit: had the dvx filter thread wrong.

DVX is 72mm ;)

Is there any possible drawback to having the larger GG? Otherwise I would think it should be standard in case we end up using a dvx or another camera that turns out to have a similar problem.
