What happened to Toenis. This is right up his ally. Good idea compared to Lanc, but I suppose Toenis wants to put a Lanc controller on it, which is easier.

I`m waiting for the stereo minijacks to arrive to properly test my hypothesis.
So far my intentions were only to power and start/stop a DOF adaptor.
We tested diferent outputs on diferent cams and all LANC controls are putting out 5V when camcorder is turned ON so we really don`t need any lanc connection on DOF adaptor only that 5V that turns on and of an adaptor.

I see what you mean, must have missed that, still great improvement. I think that Lanc control of the lens itself is nice for tripod mount, set/follow focus etc. If I do an adaptor, I would like to do manual electronic lens control through my own control interface.
