Just come up with a really cheap way to mount the EE-S/EE-A into a filter ring.
 

I took some slide holders from my classmate(Which is 2 thin plastic which used to sandwich a 35mm film)

The one I get=Exactly fit the EE-S screen. And the slide holder is smaller than the screen about 1-0.5mm each side so that the screen can secure inside the holder. The method I come up with=

1.)Use a scissors to cut the corner of the holder(With a little brute force) so that it could fit into a step-up ring.
2.)Use some "foam tape" to stick on the edge of each border.
3.)sandwich the focusing screen between them.
4.)Stick the whole thing on a step-up ring.

I wish you understand what I mean...
I think this is a good way to mount the screen since whenever you want to take out the screen you an just tear the slide holder and take it out.

Now I realize that it is called a slide mount. Which used to hold the film slides.
I guess it should work without a problem. I didn't really try it with my ee-s screen.But I think it should work fine(In theory).

For a static solution it may work but for an oscilating solution you may get z-axis movement as some those tranny holders are quite floppy especially when separated therefore not ideal.

Instead of separating one tranny (transparency) holder to sandwich screen in between why not use two complete tranny holders and sandwich the screen between them, that should give more strength and less movement.

I used these exact slide holders months ago to secure many of my testing focusing screens, some of them even thin-film sandwich bag materials, and experienced zero z-axis movement when placed in a vibrating setup. In fact I still have a box of them sitting on my desk at home. Quyen originally gave me the idea when I took apart my first Letus35, he used Garmin 35mm slide holders with a bit bigger opening.

Oh OK then, thats that then. I only said 'may' get z-axis movement cos I have some here and they are quite floppy when taken apart, although some feel different in strength, must just depend on what ones you use I suppose and how well you fix it all together.

Now you mention it I have seen a picture of Quyen's adapter with a Garmin one inside.
