Stupid depth of field question
Sorry about this thick question, but... Shallow depth of field, wide depth of field, shallow focus, wide focus, deep focus...
Just to confirm, when it includes the word shallow, this means that a smaller range of the image is in focus, and more of the rest of the image is blurry/soft, whereas wide or deep focus/DOF means that a wider range of the foreground and background is in focus? I've just had a conversation with two people where each has used a different term to describe the same thing, and now my brain hurts and I can't remember which is which... |
Your statement is correct.
