What does the "Flip v2" stand for? Is there a difference between this and the the LetusXL on the Letus website?

The flip is exactly what it states...you image is recorded upright and not upside down. The XL is for only geared for the Canon XL series camera's and not for the DVX, XH or JVC cameras.
