how do you guys attatch you field monitors/LCD screens to your rig ?

how do you guys attatch you field monitors/LCD screens to your rig ? I have an idea .. i just thought maybe you guys have a simpe solution or would have some pics to share how you guys have done it. It would really be appriciated. My only convern is that my 7" LCD might be a little heavy and i'm not quite sure how i am going to support it ( properly ).Heres what i'm doing. Its still very rough but i thought i'd show how its coming along I used an L bracket wich i mounted onto a board in with i will mount the monitor onto, i had a small base plate with the same thread size for DV cams ( lucky ey ) wich holds the bracket under the HV20. The L bracket is thick so it wont have any dramas with the weight ( not that the 7' monitor will weigh all that much ) i am going to give the board a good sand papering ( you can see on the back side it really needs it) and paint it matt black befor i mount the screen, but i think it will work out pretty well. I've included some pics to show how its all coming along, hopefully will be painted by tomorrow and will post pics again, and once my screen comes ( flat scren LCD ) i will mount it and post the final product.

Depending on the weight and size of the monitor, I might just just a ball joint and mount it in the threaded hole in the handle of my HVX. If I'm doing the run and gun thing, I picked up some quick release hardware from Zacuto... Zamerican arm, Z-mount (for the rails), and ZicroMount (for the monitor).

Well, looks like it gets in the way of operating the camera/tripod and kind of gives it a rough look, but whatever works ($$) right? :)

I've mounted my Nebtek/Marshall on my hot shoe on my camera and if I plan to shoot a very low/high angles then I attach it on a separate tripod for viewing using a manfrotto adaptor.
