New Macro shots with Apertus RAW workflow

Recently I spent a few hours in the freshly blooming garden and made a few still images to test the RAW image processing workflow with the camera. The great thing about doing macro shots is that you can basically use any lens and increase the distance from the sensor plane by using spacer rings (just standard metal parts) or by just gently screwing the lens out of the c-mount thread.
The lens itself - I used a 8.5mm fixed focal length on - is rated for 1ft or 0.3m shorted focus distance. But with the trick described above you can basically focus on the dust on the glass of the lens.

All stills are uploaded to the newly created flickr account: Flickr - Photo Sharing!

DNG of the above image is also available: http://blogs.elphel.com/wp-content/u...sects.dng_.zip

The workflow in short is: shot JP4 Raw in the camera.
Convert to DNG in post and process DNG in software of your choice (for my shots I used UFRAW)

More DNGs upon request.
