Okay, my last post asked about another filter to take care of camera shake. I've got FCP 6 on my laptop and now that has stopped working. Does anyone know what's going on? It shows in Video Filters, and I can double-click on the effect to get to the editing pane, but I cannot apply the effect to any clips. I've also tried highlighting clips first then selecting the Smoothcam filter option from the menu bar on the top. Nothing.

I've updated the software to the recent 6.0.1 and still the same problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I had a similar but not exact problem with the smoothcam filter as stated in this post:

I reran the ProAppsUpdate2007-01 patch (downloadable from Apple) and it helped me get it working again. This is different from the 6.0.1 update. Maybe it will help you....
