As the title states I'm having trouble rendering my projects. I'm a newbie in Vegas so pardon me if there is a simple fix to my problem and I'm simply a moron ;).
Whenever I try to render my project as an uncompressed Quicktime 7 file I get this message at around the 53% mark: An error occurred while creating the media file. An error occurred while writing the file. Make sure you have write access to the file/folder and that there is enough free space.
My external hard-drive has 180GB of free space so I don't know what Vegas is trying to tell me.
After this I tried rendering an uncompressed AVI file, again to my external hard-drive. This render completed, however when I view it, it acts almost like a slideshow, it's that slow. I repeated the render process this time to my main hard-drive, same thing. What am I doing wrong?
My footage is 24f from a Canon XH-A1. I used the 1440 x 1080 HDV-24p template when capturing, and rendered at the same resolution.
My comp specs are:
Duo Core 6600 2.4Ghz
2 Gigs of Ram
Nvidia 7950 GT
Please Help!
Thanks in advance,
Ian Cameron
