I'm looking to do some aeriel shots over a business near Guildford, Surrey, UK.

I'm hoping for some nice slow passes and I was wondering whether a hot air balloon would be my best option?

Can anyone recommend any south UK based hot air ballooning companies or individuals/organisations that might be able to help?

Thanks in advance.

Hot air balloons really have limited navigation capability, so a single pass is the best you can hope for and even that is a matter of chance. Also balloons avoid buildings as they have power lines near them. A copter would be a better option.

Hi Paul, thanks for that, makes sense.

Actually I was really thinking of a tethered balloon of some sort - perhaps in the company's nearby car park - as opposed to one just kinda floating past on the off chance!

Since writing the first post I have spoken to one guy who is the engineer for a ballooning company who has said he can help out as well as a guy that has access to (in his words) 'the mother of all cherry pickers'. So looks like I have it covered.

Thanks again,
